Blackbeard Queen Anne's Revenge T-Shirt Black

Southern Flyway Outfitter

"As the northwest wind blows on a Pamlico eve,

his spirit still lingers high on the breeze.

Black flags and Bluebills take flight o'er a shoal,

Traditions anchored deep in the Carolina soul..."

Edward Teach, notoriously known as "Blackbeard," was killed by Captain Maynard on November 22, 1718 in the Pamlico Sound near Ocracoke Island, NC.  There is no doubt that waterfowl were some of the only witnesses to his beheading on that chilly autumn morning.  His ghost still haunts the Pamlico Sound to this day, and his presence can be felt whipping across the salt during the cold northwest winds every fall...
